Even at that advanced age she was still laying eggs, one big egg per week. It was always a double-yolked egg, the shells were always elongated and had all sorts of bumps and wrinkles in them. We just figured it was due to her old age!<br /><br />Really interesting and informative post, thank you for sharing.
