  I am so shocked that it has been 12 years now that I started this blog. Like everyone else , a lot happens in that time span. I have gone through a lot changes in my life but I am also so grateful that I am still here. I know that I haven't been very consistent in posting for some time and I would like to express how much I appreciate you and the joy you bring to me.  When I was in my lowest times I still had such kind and loving comments and thoughts from you,  THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I'm hoping that you would if you have time, go to the top right hand corner and hit the 3 lines and look for archive. You'll have to scroll down to the year 2011 to the beginning and check out some of my original post.  It's surprised me how little has changed but again how much has.  This was 11 years ago and me now I don't take many selfies and this was from 6 month ago. No smile or make up. I was showing how my hair had grown and the new cut. I'll need to do better next time. I

I had remember the other day that it has been 6 years now that I started blogging and have enjoyed every time I write. Some days are better than others but the main thing is how lucky and grateful I am for all of you who take time to read and comment. Thank you so much. Yeah the top is finished. Measure out to be 61 x 47 as it is now. I'm not sure if I want to add a border, sort of like it as it is. Plan is to hang it up on the wall. I did try auditioning some different pieces of different colors and just didn't like any of them. Thinking the binding will be all it needs. I still haven't heard back yet from the designer Amy in Texas about a pattern. I'll let you know when I do. Today and yesterday morning have been perfect (weather wise) and been taking advantage of it. Been weeding some of the beds around the house. It's been 5 years, 1 month and 9 days This comes with my deepest gratitude for all who have been coming by.   Never thought I would still writing all this time. Meant to celebrate on the actual date but I wanted to be able to do something special for you.  I have thought and thought about it but everything I think of is so blab, blab, blab. Then I figure I'm not a very exciting person, just average I guess. First it was a gift basket of quilting patterns and gadgets. Then I thought well not everyone is a quilter. Ok how about a gift certificate to The Fat Quarter Shop, that way if you are into other sort of textile crafts that would work. But what about other fibers like yarn. So I thought a certificate to the yarn shop I go to, Loops in Tulsa. What if the person wasn't into fibers but like to garden or chickens or ........
