Have you ever had heel pain, I am going through that right now. It's called plantar fasciitis. Most people with plantar fasciitis have pain when they take their first steps after they get out of bed or sit for a long time. That is what happens to me. You may have less stiffness and pain after you take a few steps. But your foot may hurt more as the day goes on. It may hurt the most when you climb stairs or after you stand for a long time. And boy does it with me. I know part of the reason why I have a re-occurrence of it is because of standing on a hard floor bare footed. When I'm home I go around bare footed or just with socks on. So I decided that it's not going away that I needed to find out what I could do on my own to help it go away. What I found out is the sooner you start taking care of the pain the better, not to wait, now I know that. It is said it will take longer to heal the longer you let it go on.
