Purple Boxes

Started this a week ago and have it as a finished flimsy already. Not that I'm a fast, but that it wasn't a hard one to put together. Mainly worked on it Friday while watching the inauguration. Seeing how there was coverage all day I just kept the TV on and sew like crazy. Had to keep myself busy so I wouldn't throw something at the TV. I wish I could say I was uplifted by the new Pres. speech but it was quite the contrary.  So this is what my RSC for this month looks like. Of course Pete has to inspect too and I believe it passed. In fact I think the yawning means he ready for a nap. Last night I worked some on the current scarf on the loom. Besides being OSU colors they are SF Giant's colors and that is my daughter's team. It gets cold in the summer there in the Bay Area. Linking up with So Scrappy

SLOW SUNDAY

When you have a cold your day goes slowly, well mine has pretty much slowed to a halt today. Yesterday even though I knew I was coming down with a cold but I was feeling well enough to sew most of the day. It was too cold to go out and help with feeding the cattle and by the way we had 8 calves born this week. Pretty Red cows was not one of them thou. One of the heifers here had a calf today but I get a picture when I feel better. Update; I am reposting this at Elm Street Quilts to show my January finish. Thi quilt is at the quilter right now and wish I had it back to finish the binding. Finished the Vintage Christmas Quilt. This is my January OMG The pattern was well written and easy to follow. It shows when you have so many pieces to sew together and it measures out right when attaching a multi blocks to a solid piece. And I have to say partly to that I found my 1/4" and was pretty consistent. But instructions are great.  ...
