Rose Prairie Quilts and Farm

Here it is April 21 and it's been in the 50's and we have a fire in the stove. I can't remember having one for days this late before. Strange weather, but I do like the cooler temperatures. I have been wanting to share this for months.  I have since the new year started keeping track of the days and time spent in the sewing room, this doesn't count in handwork or quilting. Kate over at Life in Pieces has been doing this and I out of curiosity decided to follow her lead and see how much time I do spend sewing. I have spread sheets that I have to keep track. These are the last 3 months and since I haven't yet made a tab at the top for me to keep track, here are my current numbers Days with stitching time this week:  6 out of 7 days  (missed one this week) Days with stitching time this month:  20 out of 21 days Days with stitching time this year:   82 out of 111 days Success rate:  74% Hours spent so far to this day 120 hours and

Well we are back to a quiet home, even thou the grandsons were here less than a week, it was nice to have all the noise and activity 2 five years old bring. They flew home yesterday and I have spent part of yesterday and today putting up Christmas decorations. Pretty much done and I'm ready to get on with making plans for this month. I have decide which projects I want to post for 2018 FAL Q1 I believe I'll just pick 3.   Finish quilting on this, Scandinavian Christmas   This is a RSC from 2016 and there is really not much left to do. The goal is to finish the top, have it quilted and bound Lastly will be finishing up the baby blanket I started last year. Next thing will be to find a baby for this. I believe this is all doable.   Mailed off the little red hats today, the deadline was the 15th and I believe they should make it.  Feels good to have a something finished on time.
