A Kick in The Hiney

That is just what I need when it comes to sewing. I have done very little and not often. I know of a couple of quotes that can sum it up;   Life happens and   A day late and a dollar short. So when I read about  Kelsey's  challenge she has put out there to anyone who's interested. It is what she calls the 100 Day  Hustle I am so in the need to have to have something to reinforce my goals I have. With now 97 days left, I will put it all out there for you with my list of projects I would like to have done by the end of the year. Some of this will be off my UFO Challenge list and then a few new ones I would like to have done for Christmas.   The binding on Sunflower Quilt The binding on Ruby Red Dots Quilt Finish the William Morris Quilt Quilt Christmas Round Robin Stockings for the boys               Now the new projects Bibs for the boys quilts for the boys 4 clotget h books for the boy  (starting to see a pattern) Kitchen sets Blog Hop proje

March UFO Challenge

I tried to get this month's challenge done but I just did not stitch fast enough. I was able to get half of it done and I still have 6 month of  blocks to embroider. They are the cutest blocks and you can still get the pattern from Little Miss Shabby I'l just keep stitching away. Kat =^..^=

Monday Update

OK I said I would say what I was able to get done. First on the list... I did get all the strips needed for my Some Kind of Wonderful quilt cut. Plus I was able to get the squares cut too.  Second on the list... I'm disappointed the I did not get more than 3 houses done. I forgot about our bible study, Sisters in Scripture was this evening and I had to get tonight's block done to show how to. So here was tonight's block, Salome. I still have some paper to clean up and than do a satin stitch where the 2 different fabrics meet. Then when it came to the third on the list, working out in the garden I guess I am not totally over the head cold cause I was pooped by this afternoon, so I had to have a nap. It would have been better weather wise today than it is suppose to be tomorrow. We are in a wind advisory for tomorrow I want to share a blog I came across just the other day. It is called   Sustainable Eats For the next 12 months each
