Another Zucchini Recipe and Sewing

I'm not sure if I'm boring you with another zucchini recipe or if you are like me and have an abundance of them that you are desperate for many way to use them up beside sharing them with others  So again I went online in search of a cookie that I hadn't made yet and I could send to "the little dudes". So after the Grandpa test, which by the way got 2 thumbs up, I packed them up and sent them priority mail. They should get them Friday along with the kaleidoscopes and Thomas the train cars. Here is the link to the recipe I used. They are moist and not overly sweet, perfect for the boys. Plus I was able to sneak in a little vegetable. I am loving this break from the heat and humidity. We had a cold front move in with some rain. Its 12:00 right now and only 67 outside. Just wonderful. After it stops raining I'm going to spend as much time as I can outside as possible. But until then I'm working on getting more done on the Red Stri

What's Up

Over the weekend I put up on the wall was the Strip Quilt I took to the retreat and figure I could try to get a little done but I was too busy going to the laundromat cause my washer of 6 years need a new part and I'm in limbo waiting.Went to the one in the little town near me and to my surprise it was the cleanest, modern (machines ) and so cutely decorated I ever had to use. Pretty cool....... Back to the wall I'm liking the look.  Beside.... now and then I see a fabric from over 30 years ago when I had made some piece of clothing using that same fabric. This one will be a keeper cause of those memories. No way would I part with it. It will have to wait thou to get finished. I'm leaving tomorrow for Loveland, Colorado for a show. We need to be there by Weds. to set up.... so I'll be posting via my phone this week because we have to pack light and the laptop is staying home. linking up with http://lovelaughquilt.
