Blogtober Day 30






 I wish I could tell you I’ve been awol because I have been out somewhere exciting but that’s not the case. The first part of the week I was in a funk. 

I had no motivation, interest in doing anything creative. Not even writing. 

I tried to send my package to Australia but the USPS are not taking packages. They cannot tell me when they will. I am so disappointed at this. I also checked with FedEx but I was shocked at how much they wanted to ship my box, it was $ 330.00.  Can you believe that. That is more then the value of the contents. 

Tuesday and Wednesday was spent in Tulsa. Nothing just PT and errands like taking in the recycling and donating stuff

Beside Post Office and FedEx, had to by the  grocery store and Petco.

Did very little knitting, no sewing  

That’s it.

The only thing I can say was positive was we decided on the Subaru Ascent and talked with the guy at the dealership and there is such a lack of cars, new and used apparently that it could be a month or two before we’ll have one.



I love the blue  

My Forester is a light blue.

Sorry for being out of pocket this week, I have done pretty well for the most part.

Till tomorrow

    Holy Cow, that is a fortune to send a package! That Suburu looks beautiful. Some weeks are like that, full of the mundane but necessary stuff. Hope you find your mojo over the weekend maybe.

    I found the same thing when I was looking for a new car recently. Only one dealership had the car that I wanted in a blue that is very similar to the one in your photo. The salesman told us to decide quickly or it would most likely be gone the next day. Needless to say we came home, decided that I wanted that car and called the salesman to put a deposit on it. I was surprised that you can't send to Australia via the post office. Wow. Hope this week is better.

    I haven't been wanting to do anything creative either. It has been so discouraging. We did finally buy a car. It is silver and I love the color. Used but in very good shape. Hope you get your little blue beauty.

How to Make a Portable Design Wall

I had wanted to get a portable design wall to take to retreats but did not want to pay the price. Looked at various pins on pinterest and took ideas from more than one to come up with my verison. It worked out great and only cost a fraction of the price. The PVC pipes, joints and 2 yards of felt cost under $22.00 My design wall is 4' x 4' which stands approximately 5 1/5' tall.
