It has been a perfect day to relax and enjoy some piecework. The temps are in the 90's with humidity to go along with it so its been an inside day.
Was doing some sewing on the machine for awhile earlier but I'll show that tomorrow.
Then some appliqueing, something I haven't done much of for sometime.
Have 12 blocks completed out of 42
Here is my stack of ones that need to be stitched down.
I like to press my edges under and then use glue to attach the pieces to the background. Its water solvable and does a quick and great job of keeping them attached until I can get to them.
Then I switch to crocheting when I need a break from stitching.
Started the bag Wednesday and I'm close to being done but I'm not sure if I have enough yarn. Think I'm going to have to see what in my stash that will work and look good.
Hoping your Sunday is going as well as mine.
How pretty these flowers are :)
ReplyDeleteI love those flowers. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilt. That is a great crocheted bag also. Is it your own design?
