I would have to say that it was a slow day which part of it was dealing with doing our taxes.....fun....fun
we're not done but getting there.
This afternoon was time to relax and work on a new crochet project seeing how I finish the Ripple Blanket.
It turned out very nice and not a bad size 65 x 70, not quite a twin size but it is big enough to lay on the couch and be covered.
This is the first of this months goals to be completed. I knew I was close when I decided on a list.
This next project is something I had seen a while back and have been wanting to do just because it would be a great way to use up all these small balls of yarn I have.
This basket is only about a 1/3 of the the ball stash.
Very easy pattern, using two yarns at a time with a large hook and doing a half double stitch.
By the time I got around to writing this I have this much done, going very quickly because of the large hook I'm using.

Love all the beautiful colours together.
ReplyDeletethat is pretty! such nice colors - I always have trouble with burying the tails if I try to make one like this
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your first finish of the month! Love your new project.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like this ripple stitch! May I ask where you get your crochet patterns (inspiration)? I enjoy crochet, but only make blankets with simple (minimal counting) stitches. I've done way too many shell and zig-zag ones....and would like to find something different, yet simple to do (while watching tv, etc.). PLUS, I just found a beautiful yarn that "needs" to become a soft, cozy blanket in our living room...lol!
