Slow and Peaceful Sunday



I have been watching the first season of House of Cards, knitting and playing around with this new app I put on my i-phone. I first saw it at aunt polly's porch blog. 
Seeing how we are having another blast of cold with snow flurries I have been inside the house. 
The other day I was checking out some blogs I like and over at Polly's she had also been playing around with this app and posted her pics.
The app is called "waterlogue" and I found it on itunes, so I only have it on my phone. What it does is it takes a photo and changes it a watercolor picture. 
Here are some of the pictures I have taken and change over to watercolor pics.






Pretty cool, I believe I will be having some fun and using these from time to time.

How to Make a Portable Design Wall

I had wanted to get a portable design wall to take to retreats but did not want to pay the price. Looked at various pins on pinterest and took ideas from more than one to come up with my verison. It worked out great and only cost a fraction of the price. The PVC pipes, joints and 2 yards of felt cost under $22.00 My design wall is 4' x 4' which stands approximately 5 1/5' tall. It's for the Birds

WHOO  - WHOO It's my day for 'It's for the birds" blog hop.  Before I start I need to give thanks to our cheerleaders  and If it wasn't for all their hard work this hop would not of happen.  Thank you ladies Now for what you stopped by for.
