Up on my design wall today is one of my UFO's
I have 7 of the 9 blocks done, so I only need to get those 2 done and figure out how I want to set them.
I am going to make this one of my UFO's to finish this month.
Over at Sew BitterSweet Designs blog you can link up to tell what is going to be your finished project for the month. Only need to commit to one so this is mine. There you can see others who are doing the same thing as to finishing up a Lovely.
I still have this months RSC (pink) to do and while looking for pink fabric I came across some unfinished pink basket blocks. I will add that to my personal to do list.
Plus finish my Pea Ridge Lily
Mine is in blues.

Your quilt is great. I've never seen a nested churn dash before. And I love the Pea Ridge Lily. I hope you post of picture of that one soon.
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with that block. Over at Want it, Need it, Quilt you can get the pattern for $2.00

I will get a picture up soon of my Pea Ridge Lily Thank you for asking.
I am so impressed such beautiful blocks.
ReplyDeleteThank you, that very nice of you to say.
DeleteLove the blocks...and you are getting stuff done!!!
ReplyDeleteAnna I'm trying. Here soon will be gardening time and it seem as I'm getting older, its more challenging to be able to sew as much as I could before during growing season as I can now. But I refuse to give either one of them up.
DeleteGreat blocks and will be even better when you finish it.
ReplyDeletemy thoughts too. Thank you for taking time to write. I'm trying to do better at it myself.
DeleteYou're so close with the churn dashes! Way to go with those. :)
ReplyDelete[I'm jealous that you can have egg hens! - I've heard they need certain number of hours of daylight for good egg-laying - do you find that is so?]
Your right about how light effect the hens with laying eggs. I need to look it up but I can tell when the daylight is short and no light int the hen house I get so few eggs compared to during the longer days of summer.
DeleteThe Nested Churn Dash blocks look great. Good luck with your goals this month.
