Sewing with a Kitten

If you have cats and especially a kitten, you know what its like to try to sew at times when they are present.


Bob my kitten loves to be around when I'm sewing - so one day when he was up on my table I just had to take some pictures of Bob being Bob.
At this time he was really into chewing on everything or try to pick it up and take off with it.
Hope you find them as amusing as I did. He was really being a pest this day.







All this activity wore him out.


He has grown some since then but he is still a really cute cat.

Can be your best friends

    What cute pics of Bob. My guys like to hang out in the sewing room too. They get into all sorts of mischief. In the end you can find them sleep together on one of their quilts. Then I can get some serious sewing done.

    What a sweetie! Love those big eyes. Mine are just turned 7 months old and are still into everything. Riley loves to watch the sewing machine in action and thinks he's a dog that needs to carry everything off. Amber thinks she needs to keep the fabric in place by laying on it. Got to love them!

How to Make a Portable Design Wall

I had wanted to get a portable design wall to take to retreats but did not want to pay the price. Looked at various pins on pinterest and took ideas from more than one to come up with my verison. It worked out great and only cost a fraction of the price. The PVC pipes, joints and 2 yards of felt cost under $22.00 My design wall is 4' x 4' which stands approximately 5 1/5' tall. It's for the Birds

WHOO  - WHOO It's my day for 'It's for the birds" blog hop.  Before I start I need to give thanks to our cheerleaders  and If it wasn't for all their hard work this hop would not of happen.  Thank you ladies Now for what you stopped by for.
