Holiday Lane Hop

It's here, my day and I am so excited to share what I have done.
But before I do I would like to give thanks to
who is our hop hostess and cheerleader.
                                                   And Madame Samm,
                                          who is our Cheer-leader-in-residence,
She will be maintaining the Pinterest Page
                                                 of projects by participants.

And a very special thanks to Jill Finley
for all she has done and
for the use of her pattern, Holiday Lane,
which is available for FREE here

I want to share that I did. I did  not make the pillow because this is going to be a gift for my daughter and when I asked if she wanted a pillow or wallhanging she asked for a wallhanging

So now it time to go to Henny Lane,

If you have been following my blog you know I have a thing for chickens so it should be no surprise that I found a way to include my little friends

Looks like Santa has them all up and excited

As you can see I did a lot of appliqueing, in fact it's all appliqued. I did not follow the pattern and sew the houses to the background, I found it easier for me to do it my way. Plus I add a few more windows and a door. Plus I thought it would look nice to have a little snow on the ground.

Thank you and here is the list of others
