I wasn't sure if I was going to like my choice of cheddar, so what I've done is put it up on the design wall to see if I could live with it. I believe I like it. I have had it up there for a couple of days now and I think I'll start sewing on it.
But not tonight (Sunday), Downton Abby is on and I have been waiting for season 3 to start. And nothing can interfere with watching.
UPDATE 1-23-13
IT'S Done
I have started keeping better tally of my stash so now that it is a new year, I think I have a grasp on how to do it now. I wasn't very good at it the last year.
I've used 3 3/4 yards. and did buy 2 yards.
So that makes me 1 3/4 yards to the good.
I think I'm off to a good start
Thanks Bonnie |
With a mystery quilt it's a surprise to see how everything goes together at the end. I think yours looks bright and cheerful.

ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at how different a quilt can look by just changing the fabrics. The blue you chose looks very nice with the cheddar blocks.
ReplyDeleteI like your color choices and placements very much. Is the gray a solid, or is it that it reads as a solid in the pictures? Very Nice!
ReplyDeleteI have a "GASP" on my fabric stash too!! I love the typo. Not making fun of you. I think it is a good description and I can relate. I love your colors in this quilt.
