I've been pretty busy since last Thursday so I haven't been able to post anything about what I've been doing sewing wise or around the farm. I've been away doing what most people probably are doing and that it's Christmas shopping and taking care of things that need to be done before Christmas.
I did want to say before I show you what's up on the design wall and that Is I haven't seen the buzzard for a week. So I'm going to assume that since I haven't found a dead buzzard and haven't seen it. It's safe to say it was well enough to take off and do his buzzard thing
Now with what's up on the design wall is what I had started last week and was able to squeeze in a block or two over the weekend and that is the Farmer's Wife 1930 Samplers blocks.
As you can see I have seven blocks and I need to do two more to complete the two sets that I was given to work on.
They are mainly paper pieced and like I had said in previous post I am not a paper piecer and I'm kind of slow.
For some reason I was so relieved to hear that there was no sign of the buzzard and that he had probably flew off. Your blocks are such a delight to look at, you are a true artist with the colour palette.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that the buzzard has buzzed off! Beautiful blocks! xx
ReplyDeleteGlad that the buzzard is well enough to be off doing buzzardly things. It is hard to get stuff done in the sewing room this time of year, but it looks like you are keeping your hand in it. Hope the rest of your holiday prep goes smoothly.
