What's Up 4-22


What I have up on my design wall is one of my Get-R-Done's.
Once I get this row stitched all I need to do to finish the top is sew the rows together and add a border.

And then on the other part of my wall is another one of my Get-R-Done's, 
Some Kind of Wonderful.


I started this one last year in March and with birth of my Grandsons it has been neglected. As soon as I finish sewing the sashing strips I will have these two rows completed. Three more rows to go.

    And you do it beautifully! Love those jeans and those wonderful 30's houses. I like the orientation of that house - different from what we usually see.

How to Make a Portable Design Wall

I had wanted to get a portable design wall to take to retreats but did not want to pay the price. Looked at various pins on pinterest and took ideas from more than one to come up with my verison. It worked out great and only cost a fraction of the price. The PVC pipes, joints and 2 yards of felt cost under $22.00 My design wall is 4' x 4' which stands approximately 5 1/5' tall. It's for the Birds

WHOO  - WHOO It's my day for 'It's for the birds" blog hop.  Before I start I need to give thanks to our cheerleaders  and If it wasn't for all their hard work this hop would not of happen.  Thank you ladies Now for what you stopped by for.
