So I am one who gets bored working on one thing for an extended period of time but I am able to complete a good portion of projects started eventually and this is one project I have completed. That is my Color Affection Shawl.
I am happy with how it turned out and I can not say that I am with everything I have knitted. I admit it is probably around a third of what I've made that I am not happy with how it turned out. on this one thou, I plan to make another one.
Now on to what it is I reading or should say listening to right now. I love listening to books, I do this while sewing and driving. When I drove to California this summer I was able to listen to 4 books.

Now for what I'm knitting are dish clothes, that will become part of kitchen set, that will become Christmas gifts. I'm going to try a different pattern for each dish clothes.
I still want to make the boys these stuffed giraffes using this yarn I had leftover from making socks and hats for the "little dudes"

I loved The Forgotten Garden and Kate Morton's other books too, The House at Riverton and The Distant Hours. I think you might also like The Thirtenth Tale by Diane Setterfield
ReplyDeleteThe book sounds great. I drive and listen, a lot, that sounds like a good one for me. I don't sew and listen, I tend to tune the speaker out after a bit. Love the shawl, what are it's dimensions? I don't knit, can crochet, but prefer not to (I use my crochet hooks for turning straps and such), but I do love sewing and quilting. I'm thinking that could be turned into a quilted shawl.
