There is Hope


While waiting to have lunch with "The Man of the Place" I was on quilter blogs site seeing what others have been up to and I came across this. It was as the blog gods were moving me.
Here I was thinking how I needed to write more often and this challenge pops up.
Meant to be I think.
So the goal is to post something everyday and to get back in the habit again.

Now I already posted today but needed to share this just in case you wanted to join in.

And since I'm posting again I might as well show what I found at JoAnn's
We have Rudolph, The Grinch and a flannel with Santa.
Santa was the only one they did not have in cotton but I think the flannel will be so much softer. 
Enough for each boy to have 3 pillowcases.

    Good luck with the challenge! Those fabrics are fun, I love the Rudolph fabric. That's my favorite Christmas program from when I was a kid. Sadly my darling daughter never took a shine to it.

How to Make a Portable Design Wall

I had wanted to get a portable design wall to take to retreats but did not want to pay the price. Looked at various pins on pinterest and took ideas from more than one to come up with my verison. It worked out great and only cost a fraction of the price. The PVC pipes, joints and 2 yards of felt cost under $22.00 My design wall is 4' x 4' which stands approximately 5 1/5' tall. It's for the Birds

WHOO  - WHOO It's my day for 'It's for the birds" blog hop.  Before I start I need to give thanks to our cheerleaders  and If it wasn't for all their hard work this hop would not of happen.  Thank you ladies Now for what you stopped by for.
