Yarn Along

WOW!!!

I knew it had been a while since I have participated at Small Things with Genny.
In fact March 23th was the last time.
I haven't been knitting much but have been weaving on the little loom I bought this year. I have wrote about my little cricket here  . My plan is to share the scarfs I had woven the past few month but not in this post, soon tho.

But Monday I was putting a few things away and came across this pattern for a Knitted Santa Cup Cozy I had printed off from here.

This afternoon I finished the pieces

and attached the arms and put on the buttons.

Had a good collection of red buttons to pick from.

So what do you think?

Cute..... but not sure how useful.
This would mainly be decorative for me.
Maybe candy canes!!

I have read a bunch.
So many to just put in this post, it would take me all night
What I thought I would do is give you a list of some of my favorites I read.

The Devil in the White City Audiobook

Devil in White City by Erik Larson
Love his books that I have read of his.

The Boys in the Boat Audiobook
Boys in The Boat by Danial J. Brown
I found it so fascinating.

Now this next book is the one I just finished was Oprah's choice

Love Warrior (Oprah's Book Club: A Memoir) Audiobook
Love Warrior by Glennon Doyle Melton
Now I haven't read many from her Book Club the past 10 years or so. I had felt her choices changed directions and not ones I was interested in, at least the ones I had heard of. But took a chance on this one. It was good at times but I found it lacking something most of the time.
I imagine tho it's a good read for many, just not me too much.

  1. I love it, the perfect addition for chocolate spoons/stirrers and candy canes. Would make a lovely gift.

  3. What a cute little cup cozy! It's delightfully festive. I'm not really a hot drink drinker, but I might have to whip some up for decoration!

Welcome friends to share a thought, I enjoy reading them and will try my best to reply back by email most of the time. But if you do not hear back it's because you are a no-reply blogger.
