At the Wichita Show I just fell in love with this one quilt made by Mary Ann Moore.
As she wrote in her description that she took her love for cross stitch with her love for quilting and put the two together and boy is it spectacular.
I wish I could of took better pictures, I used my I-Phone and wished I had a nice camera. But I think you can get the idea of how stunning this quilt was. I wished I could of met Mary Ann and ask her the questions racing through my mind.
This picture dose not show half of how pretty it was. |
Just in case you are interested in the pattern she used you can find the pattern she used at Amazon
Hope you like this one as much as I did.

It would have been my favorite, too....I love all of the quilts in the cross stitch and being a cross stitcher, I know how much work went into it...look at that quilting, amazing.

I remember those x-stitch patterns. What beautiful stitching and all those feathered plumes. Did she say how long she worked on the quilt?
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, she wrotw that she had been working on it for 3 years.
