Slow Sunday Stitching

This is going to be my first time linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching at Kathy's Quilts. I think this is a neat idea  for others to share what they are working on by hand, it can be any kind of needlework. For me this is a very easy post to write because I love to do piecework.  My problem is I like to do too many types. It can be quilting, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, sewing or appliqueing. I end up having many "irons in the fire".

 I am normally working on something while watching TV. Tonight I'm working on one of the Git-R-Done's, embroidering on blocks for Some Kind of Wonderful.

And if I get those done I'll do some appliqueing on the Pea Ridge Lily blocks

The pattern is from one of Barbara Brackman's books.

Now for an update on my stash report seeing how I didn't get around to updating last week, I'll be combining week 8 & 9.

I used up mainly scraps from years of saving.

After I took this picture I did finish separating by color. So now while I participating in the Rainbow Color Challenge   makes it easy to just grab the container with that color.

I am going to have to guess at how much I used. 

I had read somewhere a while back about how much yardage is in a pound of fabric, something like that.

I need to find that.

Here is my guess on what I used 2 yards

that brings me up to 31.75 used  so far this year

and what I added was 9 yards of black fabric

which brings that up to 19 yards

now I'm only ahead by 12.75 yards now.

Need to get busy but it might be a while cause I have been trying not to come down with what "the Man of the Place" has but I am losing the battle. I feel worst today than I did yesterday. He has been sick now for over a week and just now starting to feel somewhat better. I do not want to be sick for a week, I have too much to do.
