What' Up on my design wall is a baby quilt using up some of my scraps.
As you can see it did not make a dent in my scrap pile and that is after making the mistake of making too many units in the beginning.
I have enough here on my table to make another one. So when I'm done I'll have two little girl quilts.
I was able to finish some on my Some Kind of Wonderful last night but have so much more to do on it. You can see more of this quilt and other projects from the book here. When I get more of mine done I need to post my progress there.
I have the first two rows of applique done and most of the filler blocks done but it's on Git-R-Done list for this month as a work on project.
Will see what I can get done, seeing how I'm not moving very much at the moment. I think I can say I lost the battle of not getting the "Man of the Place" bug. I have too much to do to be sick. Do you ever feel like that too?
One of the best things about working at home and living in the country is that I do not have to worry about being around others and getting them sick too. I do worry about my parents thou, they have had this first and are recovering slowly. Dad is going better than Mom, Mom has had pneumonia twice in the past months and seeing how I now sick I can't go over there to help them for a while now.
It's rough.
Here is to better days ahead (at least healthier)
The sooner the better.
I love what you've done with your scraps...big and small squares. Nice! Some Kind of Wonderful looks like a beautiful quilt. Can't wait to see it all!
ReplyDeleteAwesome quilt and so much talent!
ReplyDeleteso very nice of you.
Deletehope your feeling better very soon.............
ReplyDeleteI just love the Some Kind of Wonderful book. Need to get me one! And ugh - so sorry you're under the weather. I hope you feel better soon, and that your poor mother quits getting pneumonia. That's no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteI think you did not make a dent in your scrap basket for a very simple reason. The little elves that multiply my scraps at night are visiting you too!! :)
ReplyDeleteI think so too. I believe we need to set a trap of some kind and relocate them.
DeleteBut I keep trying, I look to at it like it's free fabric.
Wow...lovely projects
ReplyDeleteCute pink quilt parts! Nice to have a reason to sew up some Pink stash!
