My project and giveaway
Here it is day 7 of the Nancy Drew is a clue Blog Hop
And that means it is my day to share with you what was a mystery until just yesterday But first I need to give a shout out to our hostess Carol of Just Let Me quilt and Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt ...
When I was young I read a good many Nancy Drew books and I loved them and to this day I still love a good mystery.
Now if this is your first visit I would like to welcome you and hope that you take a minute and look around. You'll notice that I'm down to earth and like things that are useful so it would be no surprise that what I came up with is something useful.
I had notice that past participance had made book bags, eye glass cases, pouches, kindle cases, etc. but I do not believe that I had seen any hardcover book cover.
I know it's nothing fancy...
But I thought it was pretty practical seeing how it is all made from a charm pack.
I hope it gives you a clue of how we can make more than quilts from those charm packs.
Now for a giveaway sort of. I would like to give this book and book cover to a young person. So if you have a child or grandchild that would enjoy reading this book with the cover just leave me a comment. That's all, no need to follow me, like me or tweet about me. Just simply know a child who would like this.
But don't get me wrong if you would like to follow me, I would love that.
I'll draw a name if I have more than one on Monday. Thank you for stopping by and have fun visiting the others.
Here is the list of the others for today

ReplyDeleteLOL I had to laugh as I saw all the comments about daughters...actually in my house it is my son who is the mystery book lover. He doesn't care if it's the Hardy Boys, or Nancy Drew! In fact he made a comment that he would like a have a girlfriend like Nancy. LOL And his all of 10 yrs. old. He sure does know what he wants in life - including the fact he wants to be a detective when he grows up. He is sure to point that he wants to be a detective and that is a whole lot of Different than just being a Police Officer. ;) Thanks you for showing us another clever way to use the ND Charms.
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Tricia
