2011 Giving Thanks Challenge

It is already the 3rd day but I want to go ahead and start because I believe it doesn't matter when, we should be aware of all that is around us and be so thankful/grateful for it all. Good and bad.
I am going to write my thanks on the side to read just like I do in my journal, and change it each day. That way I can keep posting and give proper attention to being grateful. If this is something you do or have thought about, why not start.  Whether you have a blog or not (just write it down). It will change how you look at life and how much happier you'll be as time goes on as you do this. I'm an example of that. I feel very blessed because of it.
This will go perfect with tie one on day that I wrote about.

    I agree ... finding something to be thankful for each day surely does make a difference in our daily lives.

    Arriving from Leah's Giving Thanks Challenge. I think I must have arrived too late and so haven't found your list. You have a very nice quilting blog...love quilts and admire those who make them. Have a lovely Christmas!

Countdown to Autumn. 18 days

  After some thought I came up with a general "get to" list for a pre - Autumn preparation. I had mentioned a couple in the last post. I will keep those and have added a few more. How to Make a Portable Design Wall

I had wanted to get a portable design wall to take to retreats but did not want to pay the price. Looked at various pins on pinterest and took ideas from more than one to come up with my verison. It worked out great and only cost a fraction of the price. The PVC pipes, joints and 2 yards of felt cost under $22.00 My design wall is 4' x 4' which stands approximately 5 1/5' tall. Fun Time with Dots

Welcome to my blog, I hope you can take a moment to check out my blog. Here you will find that I like to share a lot of what happens on my farm here in NE Oklahoma.
