I love gifts


Yesterday when I went to the Post Office I had a package from Australia there in my box.. You see a couple of months ago I signed up for my first time, a swap. It was Sandy's Cookie and Creams Scissor Keeper Swap and my partner was Deb at Frog Cottage Designs.




 I was so happy and excited to see what she had made. I just love it and it's going in my sewing basket I keep next to my chair in the living room.

I will always remember this.

I wish I would of taken a picture of the one I sent her. Wasn't thinking ahead. 
IT MIGHT BE ALL THIS SHAKING GOING ON HERE WITH EARTHQUAKES.
I have felt more here in Oklahoma lately than I had the 36 years I lived in California. What's up with that!!!!

    It's darling!! I too signed up recently for a swap, and my partner is in Australia, too. Did you send yours to your partner via the Post Office? Do you know how long it will take to get there? Thanks for any information you can share!

How to Make a Portable Design Wall

I had wanted to get a portable design wall to take to retreats but did not want to pay the price. Looked at various pins on pinterest and took ideas from more than one to come up with my verison. It worked out great and only cost a fraction of the price. The PVC pipes, joints and 2 yards of felt cost under $22.00 My design wall is 4' x 4' which stands approximately 5 1/5' tall. It's for the Birds

WHOO  - WHOO It's my day for 'It's for the birds" blog hop.  Before I start I need to give thanks to our cheerleaders  and If it wasn't for all their hard work this hop would not of happen.  Thank you ladies Now for what you stopped by for.
