I cannot say that my slow Sunday is really that slow. I have a lot of things I would love to be able to do today.
First of all I am so happy and pleased to say that I have my daughters candy wrapper quilt top all pieced together. Now it's only took like nine years to get this accomplished, but yeah
My daughter decided that she wanted her border to be done in pink so I have a pink solid that I am going to start putting on today.
And then there is my Stash Bee block for this month that I haven't made yet. So I would love to be able to get that done today and get it in the mail tomorrow.
Also there is the planning of the fall garden which I would love to take a little time this afternoon and work on that.
But then the weather is so beautiful here today, in the 80s, with a breeze from the north so there's no humidity. I would just love to be able to also take some time and just sit on the back porch with a book.
So do you see what I mean by not really a slow Sunday!
Do take some time to enjoy your accomplishments...that quilt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnd take some slow stitches :) Thanks for linking up!
I love this pattern! Everyone linking up today seems lazy, must be the lazy days of summer as they say!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of or seen a candy wrapper quilt and yet it looks so vintage. Love it.
