Can't believe it's Monday already. Here is the start of a new week and I have so much I would love to be able to accomplish this week.
To start off that list, is this string Christmas quilt I have been working on. I am down to the border, and I haven't decided what it is I want to do on the outside edge of the border.
Do I want to leave it plain and just have the binding as the edge fabric.
Or do I want to add a strip of the background fabric, what I would call the background fabric, the light colored fabric all around the edge.
What do you think?
This is one of the four Get-R-Done's that I had thought I would do this month. I have not yet posted what my four were and always meant to. But somehow time got away from me this month. It just flew by. So this one, plus my candy wrapper, and the quilt I'm working on for my daughter that I'm quilting are 3 out of 4. I cannot remember what the fourth one was. I think these three will probably be plenty if I can get them done by the end of the month.
The plaids in your string quilt caught my eye. Nice look. I love plaids.
ReplyDeleteIt is easier to quilt it if you have the straight border on the outside, but it would look really great if you just bind it. I love the look your triple sashings give.
ReplyDeleteLove Evelyn Sloppy's pattern. I'm making it too out of shirtings.
